As consultants we have helped utilize multiphase measurement as a production measurement tool and demystify PVT and phase behavior applications. We can effectively and efficiently resolve measurement losses and reduce risk. Our data analysts and engineering techs compile data and identify outliers and anomalies. Then, our subject matter experts provide the depth of knowledge needed to resolve mismeasurement and provide technically defensible, reliable, and fair measurement as a basis for fiscal allocation.
Robert A (Bob) Webb, PE
Our leading subject matter expert with over 30 years of oil and gas measurement experience, has a solid understanding of upstream and midstream projects and operations. As a full-time employee, Bob worked for multiple major oil companies and finished that phase of his career as the Segment Engineering Technical Authority for Production Measurement and Allocation for BP Upstream. Bob instigated and was the first chair of the API Committee on Production Measurement and Allocation, where he still leads new initiatives. Some of the more notable deepwater projects and operations where Bob has been involved include, Canyon Express, Marlin, NaKika, Mars/Ursa, Horn Mountain, Perdido/Great White, Thunder Horse, Blind Faith, Shenzi, Tubular Bells, Devils Tower, and Delta House. Of course, Bob’s experience goes well beyond just deepwater. Bob has worked with projects and operations in Alaska, Lower 48, Trinidad, West Africa, North Sea, Siberia, Malaysia, and the Middle East.
